INLE was born out of a deep admiration for Myanmar’s rich artisanal heritage and a personal connection to my own family’s past in Galicia, Spain. Although I never witnessed the traditional weaving techniques firsthand—by the time I was born, they had already disappeared—my family still holds onto the old machines, and my mother shared stories of how things were made with care and precision. When I saw similar techniques still being practiced in Myanmar, it touched something inside me. It was like stepping back in time to a craft that had long been lost in my own homeland. INLE is my way of preserving these time-honored traditions. Every bag is handwoven by skilled artisans in Myanmar, using 100% natural dyes and ethically sourced materials. For us, each piece is more than just a bag—it’s a tribute to the craftsmanship of generations.
